First off, if you’re waiting for the print copy of Rune Legacy to be available, I apologize for the delay. Apparently, the website I use to publish the print copies of my books is experiencing a glitch where books are auto-flagged to have copyright issues by mistake. Rune Legacy was hit by this glitch and has been stuck in limbo for the past week. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon!
I learned a lot writing my first three books. Rune Empire was the first fiction I’ve ever written, and it was quite a struggle. I re-wrote the book three or four times over the course of a year. In comparison, I wrote both Rune Destiny and Rune Legacy from start to finish in about four months apiece. Outlines work!
I’m astonished and overjoyed that people like the books. I write for myself, but I also write for my readers. I want to craft the most compelling, engaging, and memorable stories and characters that I can for you to enjoy. It’s hard for me to look back at Rune Empire, because all I can see are the flaws. I know I can do better. I want to do better.
The Runebound trilogy may be behind me, I don’t intend to slow down. I’m already 30k words into a new book, which will be the first in a four book series. I hope to have the first book in this series published by the end of May this year.
Now that I’ve started writing, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop. I’m going to keep pushing forward. Thanks for reading, and keep your eyes on this space for updates!
